About James G. Lewis

 

I am one of the owners of Maximum Corporation (MaxCorp). I serve as President and Chief Operating Officer for its insurance company subsidiaries.

My background is computers. I have a B. S. in Computer Science from Baylor University. I've been a computer programmer, PC manager, computer salesman, and computer repairman. I've used computers since 1982 when my father bought a TRS80 Model 16. I currently own a Dell Precision M65 and M6500, and one AS/400 (through MaxCorp).

For 2010, I serve on the Financial Services Steering Committee, the Solvency Committee, and the Reinsurance Committee of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). I also serve on the board of the Texas Association of Life and Health Insurers (TALHI) and the board of directors of the Texas Life, Accident, Health & Hospital Service Insurance Guaranty Association.
